The Welcoming Dinner 2023 was our first big kick-off at Leeds HKPASS, and what a way to start the year! Over 100 students, both fresh faces and familiar ones, came together to reconnect, meet new friends, and soak in the warmth of our growing community. The night was filled with ice-breaking games, a lucky draw full of cheers, and most importantly, the comforting taste of home through food that made everyone feel just a little closer.

It was more than just a dinner, it was a chance for newcomers to get their first real feel of student life in the UK, and for returning students to gather and celebrate the start of a new chapter with a sense of ritual. It set the tone for the year ahead: welcoming, vibrant, and full of shared joy.
